Councillors have approved the installation of new contactless payment machines at the Newquay Town Council-owned toilets at the Killacourt.
The decision follows the successful introduction of contactless machines at Narrowcliff. The need for similar facilities at the Killacourt has been described as urgent due to the high footfall and the number of events held at the site throughout the year.
The town council has allocated just over £11,000 for the project, which will see the installation of two contactless units and one contactless-coin hybrid machine.
