Cornwall Pride has been recognised on the national stage, winning a prestigious National Diversity Award in the Community Organisation LGBT category.
The Chief Executive of Cornwall Pride, Matthew Kenworthy-Gomez, paid tribute to the hard-working team behind the organisation after the win, which was announced at a glittering ceremony in Liverpool.
The event celebrates the achievements of grassroots communities dedicated to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. Cornwall Pride was among seven organisations shortlisted for the category. Overall, there were 19,000 entries for this year's awards.
