New Members' Night - St Mawgan Military Wives Choir

You don't have to be a military wife to join a Military Wives Choir. Some of our members are, but others are serving in the military or veterans themselves, wives or partners of veterans, or mothers and daughters of serving personnel or women who work for or with the military.

If you think you might be eligible and are interested in coming along to our FREE New Members' Night on 14 May 2025 at RAF St Mawgan please get in touch. We'd love to meet you. We will be starting to learn a brand new song on 14 May. There are no auditions and there is no pressure to perform. And there is always cake.

St Mawgan Military Wives Choir is an all-female choir based at RAF St Mawgan near Newquay. We are part of the Military Wives Choirs charity and network of more than 70 choirs in the UK and overseas, bringing women in the military community closer together through singing.

We sing a wide repertoire of music including popular music, acapella songs and sea shanties and some music specifically composed or arranged for the Military Wives Choirs.

Since forming in 2023, we have performed at many events in Cornwall including Boardmasters, remembrance services and concerts at local churches, Newquay Council and charity events.
